MySmile® Woven Dental Floss, Mint, Waxed, Expanding

When I look to use floss, I expect it to glide between my teeth pretty easily. That is unfortunately not exactly the case with this floss. I think it might be a combination of the coating and the material itself, but it doesn鈥檛 glide as well as normal thin floss because it is overall a bit thicker. Another downside is the flavor. It is almost a sweet minty flavor which is my least favorite flavor of mint. It doesn鈥檛 leave your mouth feeling super minty fresh like other flosses, which is unfortunately a downside for me. Overall, the product is just alright.

Pros:- apparently compostable, but doubt many people would really bring their floss to their typical compost area- you get 4 packs- mostly paper packagingCons:- does not glide through teeth easily- no real mint flavoring- expensive compared to other flossEdit:After longer usage I have upped my rating by 1 star. I still find the floss harder to use than others but have gotten used to it with enough time.

Packaging is cute (but a little excessive IMO).The main issue I came across was the thickness of the floss - its flat like ribbon, not thin like the floss on those individual flossers.I have crowding so its very difficult to get the floss in between unless I use a back/forth kind of motion, which will shred the floss.Its a shame because I really like the idea of coconut oil coated floss.So keep your teeth in mind before you drop a lot of money on these - I don't recommend for people with crowding/less space in between teeth. Might work well for someone with nice straight teeth and space though.

I am obsessive about my dental hygiene. I floss, water floss and brush my teeth for my dental routine. I am always game to try different dental care items. This floss is nicely packaged and is of nice quality. It worked well for most of my teeth. Unfortunately, when I flossed a dental implant, the floss shredded and some fibers were left behind that were lodged in my implant and I had to use tweezers to remove the fibers. This floss will be good for anyone who doesn鈥檛 have teeth that are tight together. I currently pay $2.00 for a particular floss that is my favorite and this floss averages out to about $10.00 per unit. Even though it is a nice quality floss, I prefer my cheaper floss.

It鈥檚 not that I dislike this gloss in any way. It鈥檚 okThe price is a bit high for what it is.Why. If you have tight spaces between your teeth, this floss won鈥檛 be good for you.I will not be buying this again.
