LP221 Cordless Professional Water Flosser

This is my fourth water flosser and the most expensive, It is better than the others in most ways. The heads are fairly generic with no new functionality. It is heavier and larger than my previous ones.The instructions are OK and when you get used to the buttons they are acceptable, just not intuitive. They could be improved as I am not always sure what I am pressing for how long and if it is responding. I am happy with the charger as I do not need to find a razor charge point.This is my first with a display, the display is welcome but needs to be bigger, clearer and brighter. I do not need the water temperature reading. I just put cold in it from the tap and carry on, I imagine if you have sensitive gums it may help.For me personally I was quickly on strong which was fine as my gums are used to it, again the settings will be helpful to new users or those with sensitive teeth.I have no idea if the UVC will work. I do not think it is required, just make sure you rinse out the reservoir and clean/dry it regularly. I have never had a problem with any reservoirs previously.If you are new to water flossing and are OK with the value this is worth looking at for the extra features. I am not sure if it is worth double what my others are, you are basically squirting water into the gaps in your teeth.Even after brushing I could see bits coming out of my teeth into the sink when I used it, it also left my mouth feeling better than just brushing.I hope you find my review helpfulMy reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. Somewhat unintuitive, and this is coming from someone who has used several water flossers throughout my life.1. Maybe I got a dud but pressing the buttons doesn't always give the responses I'd expect. Like pressing power to power-on then pressing it again to start- I'll have it in my mouth+in position in anticipation of blast-on but nothing happens. Then I pull away to inspect and the power is still on but nothing is working til I press 1-3 more times and it blasts my bathroom ceiling.. This button lag is the most annoying and apparent and idk why it's happening since it's brand new. Not sure if the buttons aren't water sealed well? Idk2. It's not intuitive to turn on the UV light, you need to have the power OFF then hold the mode button. Again, sometimes I swear I'm doing that then the thing powers on w/o the UV 馃し鈥嶁檧锔?. the UV light is super mild and idk if it's truly doing much tbh. It's also kind of an odd feature since I figured after filling w/ water, a UV treatment would be useful but it just doesn't seem functional for that. I guess it's truly just to sanitize the tank after you're done which tbh I'm not as worried about sanitizing. They never get that grimy4. there's no plug/port in the tank to fill or air out. my cheaper previous flosser had this and it was faster to fill the tank w/o needing to unscrew/twist the tank off and on. Also easy to pop open when done to air out the inevitable remaining drops in the tank. In theory the UV seemed cool, but in retrospect I'd rather have this plug/port feature than none at all.5. Pressure is good, I'm used to strong+ have my maneuvering+timing abilities down at this point (yes there's a learning curve, stick with it) however I still find this tank runs out faster than my previous 300ml tank. Maybe it's using more water and w/ (imperceptible to me) stronger force idk, but I need to either start using pulse mode or fill the tank twice which is very annoyingNice variety of nozzles although ultimately the basic one was the best IMO.

I now have had two of these devices and both have the same problem; the OLED display is so dim that the flosser must be used in the dark to be able to read it. I returned the first flosser assuming that it was defective, but the replacement was just as bad. It is impossible to read the display unless you turn the bathroom lights off. Also, the flosser is just complicated enough that you must use the display to get to the desired settings.Too bad that the display is so poor because when you finally get the settings you want the flosser does a good job. I guess that I will keep the second one and just turn my bathroom lights on and off until each use is complete.
